We Have Much to be Thankful For

We have much to be thankful for this week.

1. This year, our fundraiser goal is $300,000. We are still a long way from the goal, but things have definitely picked up in the last week. We are now at $127,289.65, which is 42% of our goal. I want to thank all of our donors for your generous support.

2. In October, a generous donor put up a $1,000 matching grant for new donors. It took a while, but as of last weekend we have received more than $1,500 in first-time donations. Thanks to all of you, both the first-time donors and the gentleman who put up the match.

3. Since then, other donors have come forward to put together a new matching grant, for donors new and old — totaling $9,843. This grant will run until December 8th. So please, take this opportunity to make your pledges go twice as far. Also, email me at [email protected] if you want to sweeten the pledge pot.

4. Please join us this Saturday when I host an all-star livestream on Counter-Currents Radio. Our theme will be things we are thankful for in 2023. But we will also surely discuss recent events, including in Ireland. Guests include Keith Woods, Jim Goad, Sam Dickson, the Ayatollah, Karl Thorburn, Matt Parrott, Tim Murdock, the Zman, and many others. For more information, click here.

5. The Jim Goad Karaoke Fundraiser! In Jim’s own words:

From now until New Year’s Eve, I am offering my service as a freelance karaoke practitioner to help nudge Counter-Currents closer toward its fundraising goal. For the absurdly low price of $100, I will debase myself by performing a song of your choice live and on camera. But let’s not go bonkers — if it’s a song that I don’t even know and/or a song I don’t think I can handle, I’ll ask you to pick another song.

I’ve already accepted a request to sing Eddy Arnold’s “Cattle Call,” and I’m hoping someone will finance my desire to sing Frankie Laine’s “Rawhide.” Email me at [email protected] to place your song request, and we’ll take it from there.

6. Counter-Currents is releasing Jonathan Bowden’s The Cultured Thug on December 1. You can order the paperback at $5 off the current list price here.

7. My book Toward a New Nationalism (second edition) has been released in French translation as Vers un nouveau nationalisme (London: White Revolution Books, 2023). This is the first translation of this book into any language and the third translation of one of my books into French, after New Right vs. Old Right (Le nationalisme blanc) and The White Nationalist Manifesto (Manifeste nationalisme blanc). Articles by me and other Counter-Currents authors, including Michael Walker and Robert Hampton, have also recently been translated in the French journal Tabou, specifically in issues No. 22, No. 26, No. 28, and No. 29. Irmin Vinson’s Some Thoughts on Hitler and Other Essays has likewise been translated into French as L’ «Holocauste»: une arme de dissuasion massive [The “Holocaust”: A Weapon of Mass Deterrence]. Please support these worthy efforts by ordering them today from Akribeia.fr.

8. Finally, Counter-Currents has a new feature: our Tip Jar. If you like a particular article, and you want to express that in the form of a small donation, just use the Tip Jar function at the bottom of the post. Tip Jar funds are pooled and used for paying authors and other content creators.

If you want to make a dent in the current matching grant, the easiest way to help is with an e-check donation. All you need is your checkbook.

E-checks don’t work for donors outside the US, but there are other options to explore on our newly-redesigned Donate page.

Also, check out our Paywall page!

Or scroll down and leave a tip in our Tip Jar.

Thank you again for your loyal readership and support.
