Happy Fathers Day to all of you dads out there!

This is a quick site update to thank all of you that supported in many different ways the website.

We are humbled that over 200 readers in the past 100 days made significant financial contributions to keep the site alive and continuing.

There was a very big initial donation buy in for the original month's goal that exceeded expectations! But as expected sustained contributions for any readership is very hard to maintain, and I think we personally fell short in being really able to build everything we needed to bring that to fruition.

The Good !♥!

I realized how many of you that supported the site have a real understanding of what we do here. By we I mean everyone that would stop to read this. Your time is the most valuable thing you have. Most of you send stuff to me daily that makes news, without your help I would be in the dark on so much that is happening.

Reconnecting with readers and fans of the site that "get it" and found it donation worthy, is the reason the site will not shut down without reader contributions that exceed the operational costs of the site. Many of you put $100's of dollars individually into the site. 30 of you bought BLN Tshirts the first day they were on the site, so these positive reactions from the readers means the work will continue....

For new readers you might find it interesting to look at the website back in April 2006. Note how many of those website's on the left side no longer exist today. And if you look around you might think that Blacklisted News was a democrat fan site. That's because we have always called out bullshit and don't exclude any party or politician. The Bush crime syndicate and the Neocons were, and still are  conducting heavy operations around the globe, which happened to coincide with our website going online. You will notice that regardless of who was in the White House we continued the same criticism.

Blacklisted News is also an archive of some of the best research that has been "Blacklisted" from sources that were memory holded and are still accessible here and probably nowhere else.

Originally we would have to search the internet for hours to find news to publish. Now there is so much content that we have become a noise filter for all of the content that is available.

Your time is valuable and many come here to bypass all the crap and find out what is actually happening.

The Bad :(

We are broke as a joke :)

It's not that bad... but if we don't put up ads now, which you probably already noticed, next month I would be footing a $600 monthly bill that with 2 young boys already eating me into the poor house, would be... bad. Most are Net 60 so they payout 2 months from now.

The Ugly

Ads really don't pay much, and just like our adsense account, the provider can shut you off for any reason or no reason at all.

So donations are still very needed and reoccuring ones are even better.

Reader funded and exclusively focused, I hope will be the future for Blacklisted News and most of the sites you visit on the internet.

I will try to keep the ugly ads to a minimum :)
