A Russian citizen suspected of being responsible for a car bombing in Moscow on Wednesday morning has been detained by police in the Turkish city of Bodrum, the country’s Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya has announced.
The arrest comes after a Toyota Land Cruiser, reportedly belonging to a Russian serviceman, exploded near a residential building in Northern Moscow earlier in the day. The bomb went off when the owner of the vehicle and a person believed to be his wife, got inside. Both suffered injuries, with the man reportedly losing his feet and the woman receiving shrapnel wounds. Both have been hospitalized.
