Getting Blocked By Jordan Peterson
I’m wearing this like a badge of honor.
With all the political noise kicking off in the last few days, I overlooked the fact that I was recently blocked by psychologist turned mainstream political commentator Jordan Peterson. A brief surf through Twitter got me up to speed on this development
I have to say… this is quite the accomplishment.
I will admit that I was a fan of Jordan Peterson back in 2016. I applauded his opposition to Bill C-16 in the Canadian Parliament, which criminalized a notable amount of free speech and has further consolidated political correctness and LGBT degeneracy in the Great White North. For that, he should be praised.
However, once Peterson became a mainstream figure on the acceptable Right, I gradually grew tired of him. Once he came on board the Daily Wire with the likes of Ben Shapiro, the assimilation into Conservatism Inc. was complete.
Since then, he has been moaning about the rise of antisemitism and smearing anyone who dares to challenge the influence of organized Jewry. Last week, Peterson and Fuentes got into an E-Squabble over the latter’s egregious crime of questioning organized Jewry’s outsized influence in American politics.
Heck, even Peterson’s daughter, Mikhaila, jumped into the fray calling for the censorship of anyone who expresses antisemitic views i.e. any individual with high political IQ and who can recognize clear ethnic patterns in American political decision-making.
I chimed in on this discussion as well, which earned me a nice block from Peterson. No matter how hard Peterson signals about free speech, there’s clearly certain limits to the free speech he supports. When it comes to questioning Israel and Jewish influence on American politics, all that virtue signaling about free speech goes out the window.
If Peterson is about free speech, he should debate all ideas, regardless of how reprehensible they are. Nick Fuentes is not my cup of tea stylistically, but he raises important questions about organized Jewry’s noxious influence on American politics. His ideas should be debated.
But because guys like Jordan Peterson are part of the conservative media complex, there are limits to what they talk about.
I once had aspirations of moving up the ladder of the libertarian/conservative NGO complex when I was working in Washington DC slightly over a decade ago. However, I saw firsthand how petty and pernicious the culture was in that scene.
And for that reason, among others, I decided to chart my own course as an independent commentator on a host of issues spanning mass migration to foreign policy. I have not regretted that decision ever since.
Peterson’s blocking of my Twitter account further validates the path I’ve chosen. I want nothing to do with the conservative movement. If anything, they, next to the anti-white Left, are the political forces that I want to see vanquished in my quest to restore order in the US.
I’m not losing any sleep about Peterson blocking me. If anything, I’m wearing this block as a badge of honor.
