Is America facing a Civil War over the border issue now?  Texas Governor Greg Abbott has installed barbed wire fences to keep illegal immigrants from crossing the border.  While the Biden administration has threatened to federalize the Texas National Guard, 25 Republican governors have signed a letter supporting Gov. Abbot. Some states have sent their own state and national guard to assist Texas.

The video below explains that support is growing across the political spectrum now to fix the border crisis. A new bipartisan bill is working its way through the Senate which is supported by senators from both parties and President Biden. The bill which would bring a massive change from current policies.

A huge trucker convoy called “Take Our Border Back” convoy left Virginia on January 29 and will arrive in Texas on February 3. It is similar to the Canadian Trucker Freedom Movement in 2022. It includes 700,000 vehicles. Tucker Carlson asked Gov. Abbot what he will do if the federal government federalizes the Texas National Guard. Tucker also interviewed Dr. Pete  Chambers, US Army Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) who is the head of the trucker convoy.

 Texas Governor’s Masterclass in Constitution

The video below says the immigration issue has become the #1 issue in America – surpassing the inflation issue – because even people in the “Blue Cities” want illegal immigration stopped now.

Texas Governor’s statement a ‘masterclass in constitutional interpretation’: Ami Horowitz 1/26/24

Filmmaker Ami Horowitz has branded Texas Governor Greg Abbot’s statement on Texas’ ‘Constitutional Right of Self-Defense’ a “masterclass in constitutional interpretation”.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued a statement regarding the state’s “constitutional right of self-defense” in response to the Supreme Court ruling that federal agents could remove razor wire installed at Eagle Pass to stop the influx of migrants from entering their state.

It is estimated more than six million illegal immigrants crossed America’s southern border over the past three years. “His letter was a masterclass in constitutional interpretation,” Mr Horowitz told Sky News host Liz Storer. “It really broke down the issues in a very interesting way.”

Governor Abbott Issues Statement On Texas’ Constitutional Right To Self-Defense

January 24, 2024 | Austin, Texas | Press Release

Governor Greg Abbott today issued a statement on Texas’ constitutional right to defend and protect itself as President Joe Biden continues to attack Texas and refuse to perform his duties to secure the border.

“The Executive Branch of the United States has a constitutional duty to enforce federal laws protecting States, including immigration laws on the books right now,” reads the statement. “President Biden has instructed his agencies to ignore federal statutes that mandate the detention of illegal immigrants. The failure of the Biden Administration to fulfill the duties imposed by Article IV, § 4 has triggered Article I, § 10, Clause 3, which reserves to this State the right of self-defense. For these reasons, I have already declared an invasion under Article I, § 10, Clause 3 to invoke Texas’s constitutional authority to defend and protect itself. That authority is the supreme law of the land and supersedes any federal statutes to the contrary.”

25 Republican Governors Back Texas

The video below shows that over nine million immigrants have crossed the border illegally since Biden became president. That’s about the population of New York City.

It Begins… Texas Border Battle: Texas Vs Biden Admin over Migrant Crisis / Federalizing National Guard

Texas Border Battle. Texas prepared in ‘unlikely event’ Biden federalizes National Guard. Border standoff between Texas, feds intensifies as governor defies Supreme Court ruling. Texas arresting Migrants.

“This is not over,” Texas Governor Abbott said in a social media post. Despite the U.S. Supreme Court siding with the Department of Homeland Security to allow federal border officials to cut state-installed razor wire along the Rio Grande, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and state Attorney General Ken Paxton said the larger legal battle between Texas and the Biden administration is far from settled. Texas keeps adding Razor wires. Texas state Law Passes Allowing State Police to Arrest Immigrants.

The Texas House passed legislation earlier making it a state crime to illegally cross the southern border, empowering state and local police to arrest and in some cases deport illegal immigrants, in what the bill’s supporters claim is a response to federal inaction. Senate Bill 4 gives local and state government the authority to arrest illegal immigrants who enter Texas from Mexico between official ports of entry.

Under SB 4, those who unlawfully cross the border can be charged with a state misdemeanor and face up to one year in prison. A felony charge, carrying a maximum sentence of 20 years, can be leveled if illegal immigrants are charged with additional crimes or don’t comply with a judge’s orders. The bill also authorizes state judges to deport illegal aliens to Mexico rather than pursue prosecution under federal law. After getting approval from the Texas senate last week, the latest version of SB 4 now heads to Republican governor Greg Abbott’s desk, where he is expected to sign it into law.
