About Against Imperialism

Greg Johnson’s Against Imperialism collects thirty of his best pieces of political commentary written primarily in 2022 and 2023.

Part One, “Against Imperialism,” collects four essays criticizing imperialism from an ethnonationalist point of view. These essays are Johnson’s contributions to debates with Gregory Hood and Asier Abadroa.

Part Two, “The Ukraine War,” stakes out a pro-Ukrainian position on the Ukraine War in debates with E. Michael Jones, Mark Collett, and Mike Maxwell.

Part Three, “Two Notes on Sovereignty,” clarifies the crucial concept of sovereignty in response to essays by Mike Maxwell.

Part Four, “White Identity Politics,” deals with such figures as Donald Trump, Tucker Carlson, Christopher Rufo, Kanye West, Dave Chappelle, Elon Musk, and Richard Hanania—and such issues as the Gaza conflict and abortion rights—from a white identitarian point of view.

Part Five, “Our Movement,” ends the book with essays defending the collectivist and altruistic ethos of White Nationalism from selfish individualism, addressing morale issues that lead some people to abandon the movement altogether, and giving reasons for sustained optimism and commitment.

These essays display all of Greg Johnson’s trademarks: careful argumentation, moral clarity, political idealism, and a willingness to take unequivocal stands on controversial issues.
