• The baby carried by shooting victim Brittany Rich, 25, died prior to birth in Fayetteville, NC.

Rich was shot seven times during a carjacking attempt, but survived.

A security camera captured video images of the incident, which occurred in February 2023. The suspects appear to be black males.

• Three teenagers—Layla Silvernail, 16, Camille Quarles, 16, and an unidentified 17-year-old boy—were killed in Marion County FL in an apparent murder ring..

Two teens and a 12-year-old have been identified as suspects. Christopher De’l Atkins, 12, and Robert Le’Andrew Robinson, 17, were in custody. 16-year-old Tahj Brewton was arrested on April 9.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office released a photo of Brewton on Facebook. The suspects were apparently part of a burglary gang who kidnapped the victims before killing them.

The three victims were found fatally shot at different locations.

The male victim’s name is being withheld based on the family’s request under Marsy’s Law, which provides rights for crime victims and their families.

“Quarles [was found] inside the trunk of Silvernail’s abandoned car which was partially submerged near the edge of a small lake,” according to people.com.

Silvernail, was found injured on the side of the road and later died. The 17-year-old male was found on the side of a road the next morning.

• Stephen Flynn was found dead in Indianapolis, IN. The 57-year-old was delivering pizzas. He was found at about 11 pm.

Justin Turner has been arrested.

• 58-year-old Matthew Miller was fatally shot in his vehicle after checking his mailbox in Chandler, AZ.

Arrested was 31-year-old Channing Vanderbilt.

Reports say Vanderbilt confronted Miller for no reason, then began spraying bullets. Miller managed to protect his wife by pushing her down and out of harm’s way.

Vanderbilt reportedly began collecting the shell casings, later explaining that he was merely collecting them as souvenirs.

Arizona’s Family spoke with the woman who was in her backyard when someone started shooting at her wall. Fortunately, she was not hit. ‘”ll of a sudden it was pop pop pop,’ the homeowner said. “I am very grateful to God that I was okay. I feel horrible for that family.”

Bullet-resistant walls may soon become necessary as our country becomes blacker, browner, and more violent.

A similar incident occurred in 2016 ,when white 82-year-old John Clements was getting his mail in Zionsville, IN. Damoine A. Both victims were killed in white-majority neighborhoods.

• Leah Rosin-Pritchard, 36, was killed with an axe at Morningside House shelter in Battleboro VT, where she worked helping the homeless.

Zaaina Asra Zakirrah Mahvish-Jammeh, a 38-year-old resident of the shelter, was arraigned.

The name “Jammeh” most frequently occurs in the Gambia. Needless to say, no corporate media appears to have asked about her immigration status.

• 80-year-old Lan Thi Rawls was stabbed to death inside her Aulander NC home.

Arrested was Robert Tyjuan Reid.

Also stabbed was Rawls’ black caregiver, 62-year-old Rochelle Harrell, who was critically injured.

• Marvin Enrique Bardales Valle, a white Hispanic immigrant, 32, was fatally shot while working as a ride-share Lyft driver in New Orleans, LA.

Arrested was Taurus Tilly, 19.

• 29-year-old Brenton Estorffe was gunned down on his birthday after confronting two home invaders in Fort Bend County, TX.

Jadon Ezra Carpy, 21, was arrested at his Houston home in March 2023, two years after the incident. His accomplice hasn’t been caught.

Brenton Estorffe, 29, was gunned down while trying to protect his wife and two small children when someone broke into their home on Glen Rosa Drive, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.

“‘I’m sorry, I have two kids in the house, I don’t know what to do,’ the victim’s terrified wife told the 911 dispatcher.”

• 34-year-old Justin Breitung was fatally shot in Springfield, MA.

Charged with murder were 32-year-old Christina Guzman (who is white) and 37-year-old Rafael Calo.

Calo appears to be a Hispanic or Latino with African ancestry. Reports say police found a large-capacity firearm in his possession. Besides murder, he was charged with carrying a loaded large capacity firearm on a public way, firearm violation with 2 prior/violent crimes, and possession of a high-capacity magazine/feeding device, sources say.

• 64-year-old Alvin Matsumoto, a Japanese-American, was fatally beaten in Honolulu, HI.

Arrested was 23-year-old Kendall Gray.

Reports say the victim was beaten, stomped, and dragged “like a caveman.”

Apparently, Matsumoto was a landlord who was evicting a tenant for non-payment. The alleged attacker is said to be the tenant’s boyfriend.

Hawaii is the third most racially diverse state in the USA. • 29-year-old Breanna Dunn was fatally shot in Denton, TX. 43-year-old Ronald Calvert Jr. (Race unknown) was also killed.

Arrested were 29-year-old Sylvester Williams and 29-year-old Benjamin Paul Teal.

• Sapaya Kjirsten Paddilla, 34, was fatally shot in her vehicle in Flint, MI

Arrested were Demarcus Latrell Williams, 32, and his wife, Sabrina Lisha Williams, 28. (No pictures available.)

Demarcus Williams is charged with first-degree premeditated murder, assault with intent to murder, possession of a firearm by a felon, and three counts of felony firearm in connection with a Feb. 11 shooting outside Midway Square Townhomes[Exam scheduled for suspects in Flint double shooting that left woman dead, man injured, Mlive.com, March 6, 2023].

• 22-year-old Jerred “Jay” Duncan was fatally shot in Mckeesport, PA.

30-year-old Jordan Eubanks, a black male, was also fatally shot.

Facing firearms-related charges was Davon Flewellen-Beltonon, 18.

Apparently, an altercation between Duncan and Eubanks prompted Flewellen-Beltonon and his father to get involved. Reports say the three black males—Eubanks, Flewellen-Belton, and Flewellen-Belton’s 44-year-old father—discharged firearms.

Duncan may not have been armed. He also may have been unaware of the dangers of living in an urban jungle environment. The incident apparently occurred in a grassy area at an apartment complex.

• 22-year-old Mathew Nelson was fatally shot in Clovis, NM.

Arrested was 21-year-old Patrick Quinones.

Like Jerred Duncan in Pennsylvania, Nelson may have been unaware of the danger of being in an urban jungle.

• Lawrence Herr, 66, was fatally shot in Kenner, LA.

Arrested were 23-year-old Tahj Matthews and 25-year-old Maurice Holmes.

Herr, a handyman, was shot and killed, apparently randomly, while installing a mailbox outside a home.

• 26-year-old Blake Mohs was fatally shot while working at Home Depot in Pleasanton, CA.

Arrested were Benicia Knapps, 32, and David Guillory, 31, over the shooting after fleeing with a child in their car.

• 52-year-old Jude Watson, a former police oversight commissioner, was killed in Ann Arbor, MI.

Ricky McCain, 54, was charged with murdering the noted community activist. Charges include open murder, first-degree home invasion and assault with intent to commit sexual penetration.

• 84-year-old Afaf Assad was murdered in a casino restroom in Temecula CA.

Arrested, tried, convicted, and sentenced to life sentences without parole were Kimesha Williams and Candace Townsell.

Williams is the sister of Kawhi Leonard, who plays for the LA Clippers. According to celebritynetworth.com, Kawhi Leonard’s net worth is about $80 million and he earns about $40 million per year. His father was murdered at the carwash he owned in 2008. The killer was never found.

Reports say $1,000 was stolen from Assad. Assad was a Coptic Christian from Egypt who immigrated legally in 1969.

• 22-year-old Alexis Boland died after being shot multiple times in her Dunlap, Illinois apartment.

Arrested was 26-year-old Walter J. Artis, Jr.

…according to a witness, Artis, Jr. forced his way into the apartment and pulled out a handgun, firing multiple shots at Boland striking her in the head and torso – then fleeing the scene in his vehicle.

• 72-year-old Darlene O’Bryan died from blunt force injuries to her head and chest in Springfield IL. She was also stabbed in her neck and chest.

Arrested was Fredrick D. Degraffenried, 54.

• Jennifer Robinson, a 33-year-old mother of four, was killed by a drive-by shooter in Rock Hill, S.C.

Brenden Demarkus Johnson, 25, was arrested.

• 27-year-old Anthoni Jamez “AJ” Orozco was fatally shot in Seattle, WA.

Kajali Alijah Camara, 20, was arrested.

• Jesus Romero, 20, was fatally shot in Tucson, AZ.

Arrested was a black woman, Makenzy Jarman.

“Romero and Makenzy Jarman had set up a deal with an unidentified man with the goal of robbing him at a nearby park. Romero was shot during a struggle of the attempted robbery,”according to kvoa.com.
