‘Ukraine President Viktor Yanukovych has agreed to appoint a coalition government with the participation of opposition leaders.
“The president of Ukraine agrees to a coalition government. There is still a possibility,” said Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Rybak on Wednesday.
The decision came as leader of the opposition Fatherland Party rejected the offer to take the role of prime minister in any possible coalition government.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk said nothing less than heading an opposition-dominated cabinet can satisfy him – a demand that has been rejected by Ukraine’s ruling Party of Regions.’
