Anarchists and Libertarians in the Western countries need to understand that we are essentially in the same position as Russian anarchists in the 1920s, i.e. anarchists living under revolutionary leftist authoritarian regimes, rather than right-wing conservative or reactionary regimes. Those Anarchists and Libertarians who persist in denouncing the “racists and reactionaries” or “right-wing fascists” have as much coherence as Anarchists denouncing the Czar in Bolshevik Russia or denouncing Louis XVI in Napoleon’s France.
